What BOARDY is
$BOARDY is a token whose trading fee buys seconds on real arena jumbotrons and concert LED walls. You can also launch a token and put a first budget on a specific room. In both cases the money is meant to land on a physical screen, not a mockup and not a social post.
The venue operator puts the slot in the rotation. If that room has a public camera, the homepage can point at the house feed while it runs. Most rooms do not have a camera. We do not pretend they do.
Fees and the split
Every swap on $BOARDY pays a fixed 1%. That is the only protocol fee. There is no launch charge and no cut of supply.
The 1% is hardcoded and identical every time:
- 80% buys real jumbotron / arena screen time
- 15% buys back $BOARDY and burns it
- 5% funds audits and the production pipeline — making the actual video asset and delivering it to the venue
The split is not adjustable, not discretionary, and not put to a vote per campaign.
Booking a spot
Inventory lists a published price for one 15-second spot in the standard rotation. Madison Square Garden at $64 means $64 buys one spot on that board.
A budget converts at the airtime slice only:
spots = budget × 0.80 ÷ price per spot
So $320 against a $64 Garden spot books four spots. $256 is earmarked for the board. The other 20% of that budget follows the same hardcoded path: 15% buyback-and-burn, 5% audits and production. If the math does not clear one full spot, nothing is booked.
Booking is not a release. Funds sit in a treasury wallet until the venue operator confirms the schedule. The desk shows two treasury states: Pending confirmation (booked, waiting on the house) and Scheduled (on the clock, not yet aired). Neither is a receipt.
Payments
Venue operators invoice in USD or EUR. BOARDY does not ask them to take a token. A payment gateway sits in the middle: it quotes a rate, accepts SOL, USDC, USDT, BTC, ETH or LTC, and pays the vendor in the currency on the invoice.
The rate you see at checkout is the quote locked for that invoice. This build uses mock quotes. No payment is sent. When the rail is live, the same screen will show a real locked quote from the gateway.
Venues and cameras
Rooms are either bookable now or on a waitlist. New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, and Toronto are listed as bookable. London, Tokyo, Paris, and Atlanta are waitlisted until the operator contract is in.
A public camera is a property of the room, not a default. Each venue is marked hasLiveCamera. The homepage jumbotron rotates the distinct public lives we have for those rooms: EarthCam Times Square North 4K, LA Times Hollywood Blvd, and EarthCam Allegiant Stadium. Other bookable boards — Barclays, United Center, Scotiabank, Sphere, Kia Forum — have no public camera, and the UI says so.
BOARDY does not rehost the video. The jumbotron embeds the public YouTube live of that location. Click a tab to lock a city; otherwise the house rotates every 20 seconds.
Receipts
A spot becomes a receipt only when both of these are true:
- the venue operator has signed that it aired
- payment for that invoice has settled
Then a hash is written. The desk shows the hash, the timestamp, the venue, and the USD that cleared.
Anything booked that has not aired — pending confirmation or scheduled — is treasury. It is reported on its own line. Mixing the two numbers would be lying about what actually played.
Live data
Not everything on this site is live. The split below is the intended production source versus what you are looking at now:
- $BOARDY price — Stats reads DexScreener for the live mint.
- Camera feeds — public location lives (EarthCam / LA Times) embedded on the homepage. BOARDY does not rehost the video.
- Inventory and published rates — product placeholders until real venue operator contracts are signed.
